The Night Before Your Spray Tan
Exfoliate THOROUGHLY this will remove dead skin and provide a new, smooth surface for your tan. Exfoliating helps to promote even coverage and lengthens the duration of the tan.
DO NOT USE DOVE PRODUCTS! Dove soap and Dove lotions leave a film on your skin that directly leads to a blotchy tan.
The day of your Spray Tan
Remove make-up, moisturizer, perfume and deodorant before your spray tan.
Women who want tan lines should wear a dark-colored bathing suit or similar underwear, or they can opt for no tan lines at all. We require that men wear dark-colored swimsuits or underwear of some kind. Our solution is water-soluble and washes out of most synthetic fabrics and all natural ones.
Let your tan set for at least 8 hours with our Classic Tan, and 2-4 hour with the Express Tan before showering. Develop time is for both 8-24 hours.
Avoid wearing socks or shoes after your tanning session in order to allow the tan to develop properly on your feet.
Avoid applying moisturizers or deodorants before you take a shower.
Avoid wearing tight clothing. This includes tighter-fitting jeans, bras, spandex, tight blouses and shoes/socks and flip-flops.
Do not shave for 24 hours after your spray tan.
First Shower
During your first shower, you will notice ‘the brown toner’ running down the drain.  This is normal…it is the  “instant bronze” color washing away as it is designed to do, leaving you with a beautiful bronze glow underneath..
Maintaining the tan
It is recommended you follow these general guidelines to maintain your tan:
Moisturize regularly.
Avoid long hot baths and showers as these speed up exfoliation.
Pat your skin dry after a bath or shower. Rubbing your skin may rub off your tan.
Avoid swimming pools and salt water, as these can reduce your tan.
